Last month, American singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus and British producer Mark Ronson released their new collaboration song "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart".
On December 14th, the pair covered "Happy Xmas" and released as “War Is Over”. The song features Sean Ono Lennon, son of the song's creators John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
She announced the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on the same day. She told Jimmy Fallon, “just so special and I think more than just inheriting the voice or the way he (Sean Ono) looks or whatever, it’s about the magic he has,” she said. “I think that’s what he’s inherited more than anything. It’s this radiant magic.”
Miley Cyrus teams up again with the hip-hop producer Mike Will Made-It for her next album, alongside Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow.
She previously worked with Mike Will Made-It on her 2013 album "Bangerz".
She said of the new album, "We (Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson)'ve got songs with Mike Will that lean more hip-hop and songs with Andrew Wyatt that lean more pop/alternative. I just have kind of everything."
